The Pink Ribbon Cupboard Program

The Pink Ribbon Cupboard Program began in 2010 for women and men undergoing treatment for breast cancer. This program offers emergency assistance for non-medical needs and expenses that are a direct result of the burden arising from having a serious medical condition. Kathy Buxton a long-time breast cancer advocate, is the Founder/Project Manager for The Pink Ribbon Cupboard.

The program is sponsored by St. Joseph’s Foundation at Essentia Health and supported by local donations and grants from the MN Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure with 100% of the funds given directly to patients – no administrative costs. Financial assistance from The Pink Ribbon Cupboard is determined on a case-by-case basis.
